Sherm, I asked for A Memory of Elephants for Xmas....it did not arrive. Fortunately for me my birthday is 15 days later. While my presents arrived late they did arrive! Four PG Wodehouse coasters, two hand painted Wodehouse bookmarks and one beautiful copy of A Memory of Elephants! It’s awesome!

Received my copy today. What a beautiful book. Knew the contents would be stellar but didn’t expect the actual book to be so lovely. Thank you!

I bought copies in 2020 (because I would like everyone to know how cool I am). They are simply excellent. And because they're carefully bound by actual human beings who love literature, they feel so personal and immediate timeless at the same time.

I don't know what your niche is, man. But I thoroughly enjoyed 'the memoir of a part-time Indian' if I am capable of remembering the title correctly. Nobody can take that away.

Aren't ALL creatures, from the small to the massive, God? I sure hope I am not just wishing when that is what I see!

Copy ordered from this fabulous press. And the thought of God moving from elephant to elephant promises to stay with me for a long time.

I hadn't realised that I want God to be an elephant, too. Thank you for enlightening me, Sherman :)

Love the poem, ordered, and am looking forward to reading it. I don’t know why, but something tells me I’m going to pass it on as a gift. What’s inside will probably determine to whom it goes... so that part’s a mystery, and already fun to contemplate, but I promise it will be propelled to points yet unknown by friendship and love... the way all good things should travel. Cheers!

Some books should be nomadic!

Yes, they should have a life of their own. Which (guess what?) reminds me of a song... by a friend that could possibly end up with the book. How 'bout that? https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=my+miles+davis+kind+of+blue+beth+wood&mid=9D7B929F16FA76E4AA1C9D7B929F16FA76E4AA1C&FORM=VIRE

This is as big as you made your prayer poem. Wouldn’t this be wonderful. As vast and substantial with love.
