I wish I had your talent of using words to create such powerful emotions because all I can say is: "Wow!" What a touching poem that stirs up feelings inside me that, right now, I don't want to deal with. "wow!!"

"I didn't marry my parents.

No, it's their sorrow

that has become my spouse"

Gut punch! I resonate with this so much! The succinctness of this poem belies the depth of your trauma.

This was just too beautiful for words. And oh, it reads uncomfortably familiar. Thank you!

Once again, humanity is rescued by a random thought of opposites. This poem is juxtaposed with some evocative language. As I listen to Celtic music on AccuRadio, I am reminded that calmness is a gift too. Your words soothe the wary heart. We are all wild and innocence in various stages of development.

Dear Mr Alexie: a few weeks ago I found some exciting info about an online autofiction course that you were giving. This morning I started searching for it again on Google and Presearch and Submittable to sign up, but I can no longer locate the page, which I was certain I had bookmarked. If it still exists can you or someone please send me the link? To arturo.desimone@gmail.com

Many thanks in advance to you and Substack

Ok, at least I didn't miss a deadline! Hope to be updated if there's another opportunity for an online autofiction workshop!
