Ah, depression - that black dog, that dark cloud hanging over heads that blocks light and clear thinking. How often I'm there. Injuries and illness just invites this heavy blanket into many lives. I hope it soon lifts for you while you recover. And thank you for your amazing writing!!

As intended, I think….the beginning lines were alluring. Until the next line. Then the next line, and the next. It is lonely, isn’t it? That giant global community of ‘friends’.

I have a great agent, a poet herself. She suggested that I add “here” to begin that last line. It certainly helps the rhythm and it adds an immediacy.
