I searched for the author of that phrase -- it was Wendell Berry - https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-country-of-marriage/ -- and it was the title of a poem.

*le sigh*. Someday, someday. So tender and lovely. I broke my egg. I think I break everything.

More personally funny than sacrosanct, my ‘white oval love egg’ this morning, came in the shape of a new ‘E’ Elongated toilet seat I successfully installed. Love arrives in many different shapes and packages delivered straight to our hearts.

‘Love poems’ seem so lovely and yet, are so difficult to create in such a ‘lovely’ way as this poem.

Yeah, lovely. Somehow it reminds me of an old song "Make the World Go Away." https://youtu.be/5XqiT6aT7Gw?si=utN3vmhMQO_SGuJe

One of the greatest country songs. My Mom used to sing it. I haven't heard this version. It's great. I haven't thought about Jamey Johnson in a long while. I need to listen to him today.

Mmm yes. For divergent reasons, this reminds me of the story of BBC engineers recording Jimi Hendrix for the first time. “I’m sorry, all we’re getting is distortion and feedback.”

This morning, outside, rain, and more rain. How does one begin such a day? Well, how about this poem. And your voice. What you write about is, for me, not ignoring this world at all! I would rather ask, Why does this world ignore what is most important? Thank you, Sherman.🏮
