Recovering from Covid

Hello, everybody,
So Covid knocked me down this last week, particularly over the weekend. Fever, muscle aches, congestion, and the worst sore throat of my life. And an eye infection! This strain of Covid apparently attacks your whole damn head!
I’ve now turned the corner and expect to be back to my regular posting on Friday.
In the meantime, here’s a link to a poem that I read on The Bill Moyers Show a few years back: Ode to Grey.
I hear you. I was misled by all the “as long as you get vaccinated, It’ll probably be no worse than a cold.”
A cold, they said. I was deceived. I was blindsided.
That cold picked me up and twisted me like a limp rag, while I was swallowing tiny cheese graters and small razor blades.
Sorry to hear this, Sherman. I talked to RFKjr though and he says that’s what you get for not being a Jew.
All political absurdity aside, rest, breathe, get well, and get back in the fight. Real soon.
