Looking back, I like "feels" better. But since your mushroom is Amanita muscaria, and yes, is considered poisonous, it is also hallucinatory. Poison is how we get high, whether it's beer, cigarettes, or Jethro Tull. Shrooms throw one into a childlike state of wonderment or madness. Infanticide does rhyme, but etmologically, is probably the wrong if not opposite word (I cheated for cheap consonance). However, ancient Serbian Chukchee natives did ingest Amanita with reindeer milk, and then drink their urine to recycle their intoxication. Politicians do something similar, but it's called eating shit.
