Dear, Dear Subscribers,
As 2022 is coming to an end, I wish all of you a Happy New Year. Thank you so much for being here, for reading and listening to my poems, stories, essays, and random musings. I’ve had a great 2022 with you.
I’m planning on creating a full podcast this year. So stay tuned for that. I’ll be interviewing some writers you might know and friends and family you’ll meet. And I’m also going to be publishing two limited edition books. Tangible books! The books you can hold in your hands! I’ll let you know further details on those.
Here’s a New Year poem for you.
Every New Year's Eve, we make root beer floats. I lean close to my mug & see the sweet ghosts who always gift me the stories about our sins, stumbles, losses & glories. So I raise my glass to this year's answered and unanswered questions and to all the questions I have yet to ask.
I love your ghosts swirling in the root beer float! They could be ghosts from the past or from the future, as Dickens' ghosts were, spirits unformed but beckoning... I especially like the"questions unasked" which propel us forward through the stumbles. I hope this Year of the Rabbit is a creative one for you, and that peace may tiptoe into our lives and remain a bolder presence.
Happy New Year, Sherman. Thank you for sharing your poems, stories and beautiful spirit with us. You make the world a better place!
