Crack the egg

Only enough

For a wounded

Human to slip

Inside. Then let

The choir chant

A healing song

That stitches

The eggshell 

Back together.

Shake the egg

Like a rattle

While the human

Inside curls

Into the yolk

And prays to be

Healed. Pray

With that human.

Pray for that

Human. Please

Let humans

Be healed. Let

Them grow strong

Enough to break

The eggshell

With beautiful

Fists, then emerge

From the wreck

And begin

Their life again.
